SOLO AND GROUPS Artistic modalities in competition
Artistic skating on wheels is a sliding sports discipline in which participants do figures, jumps, pirouettes and other technical exercises using roller skates.
Athletes require excellent physical preparation and a great capacity for concentration.
Individual modalities

Free – Inline

This modality is for individual participation and is made up of two programs; a Short Program that accounts for 25% of the final score and a Long Program that makes for the remaining 75% of the total score. Both are accompanied by music and the skater must interpret it with his movements and technical elements such as jumps, spins and step sequences.

Solo Dance

Individual discipline where steps on wheels predominate. Composed of two programs; STYLE DANCE where they must comply with a mandatory pattern of a specific rhythm and FREE DANCE , as its name says, have no restrictions on rhythms or choreographic passes.

Team modalities

Dance Couples

Conformed of a man and a lady where they demonstrate their team skills. The competition stands out for having elevations that do not exceed the man's shoulder. Here they also have two programs; STYLE DANCE and FREE DANCE OR FREE DANCE.

Precision
1
This modality is made up of a group of at least 12 skaters and a maximum of 24 (ladies / gentlemen or mixed), it consists of assembling a choreographic scheme that will be executed as uniformly as possible by the skaters with mandatory technical requirements.

Show
big, small and foursome

Show
big, small and foursome
Each type of show varies in the number of participants, large show up to 30 skaters on rink, small show up to 12 skaters and quartet, as its name indicates, up to 4 (they can be ladies, men or mixed). The use of props during the competition is allowed to highlight the choreography and the message they want to convey.
